Ballroom Marfa presents an ethereal evening under the stars with musicians Grouper and Adam Bork, Sunday, May 30, at the Crowley Theater. Grouper, the recording and performing project of Liz Harris, makes music with a combination of field recordings, vintage keyboards and effects-laden guitars. And the evening will begin with a performance by Marfa favorite Adam Bork -- a musician, a photographer and filmmaker. Please join us for this free show, which starts at 8 pm, behind the Crowley Theater. Limited seating will be provided, so bring blankets!

Padres welcomes the Texas Tycoons, Acuario 90 (from Mexico), and the return of the sold out Gospel Show on Sunday afternoon, and more! All tickets sold at door. A block of rooms has been reserved at the recently restored Holland Hotel in Alpine and a shuttle will run to Padre's all weekend. You must reserve one of these rooms by Sunday, April 11! The Marfa Chamber of Commerce will launch a Shop Local/Spend Local program in May that will also track how money circulates through town.
Look for $1 coins with a "Spend me in Marfa" sticker on the back side.
