Pony Palooza
- Description:
- Pony Palooza, a live auction and party, will take place at the Hotel Paisano, Saturday April 30th beginning at 6:30. Tickets are $10. The event is sponsored by the 2010-2011 class of Leadership Big Bend to raise money to purchase a Fjord pony for the Davis Mountains Therapeutic Riding Center in Fort Davis.
There will be music, a live auction, refreshments and a cash bar! Viewing of the auction items begins at 6:30 and the live auction begins at 7:30pm. ALL proceeds will go toward the purchase of Jack, a Norwegian Fjord pony, and scholarships for therapeutic riding.

Ballroom Marfa is pleased to participate in this year's Texas Biennial by showcasing the work of artist Alyce Santoro. Widely known as the inventor of Sonic Fabric, Santoro's interdisciplinary projects weave together philosophy and physics with ecology and social activism in quirky and provocative ways. For the Texas Biennial, Santoro will launch her project, The Synergetic Omni-Solution, which will include lectures, demonstrations, performances, multimedia installations, booklets, and posters around Marfa.
