The Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute is offering a field trip to Monahans Sandhills State Park, on Saturday, June 6th. The trip will include interpretation on the ecology and geology of the dunes by park employees. Then, participants will be able to experience the dunes under a full moon. The cost for this unique experience is $25 dollars for members of the CDRI and $30 for nonmembers. Park entrance fees are included.
