| Description: | Fancy Pony Land and Bedroom host a golden era Hollywood-style bash and presentation of art and decorative interiors by a group of classy broads! A joint red carpet opening between Fancy Pony Land and Bedroom. 7-10pm. Fancy Pony Land, the clothing, jewelry and accessories line and store by artist Lorna Leedy, presents a new work by Austin, TX based artist Faith Gay. �Laurette Sprang� is a fused plastic wall installation piece titled after the actor who played �Casssiopeia� in the original Battlestar Galactica tekevusuib series. Faith Gay�s recent work is inspired by prehistoric graffiti. Lorna Leedy�s new work �When You�re Alone With Animals� is a group of interiors pieces featuring appliqu�d cushions and bandage bedspreads to complement the Marfa Interiors line. The new group is an expansion on Fancy Pony Land�s signature techniques of vinyl & leather illustrative appliqu� and intricate layered-cotton quilt-like textiles. Now you can wear them and lounge on them. �When You�re Alone With Animals� will be shown in Leedy�s lighted bandage tents, where visitors can themselves spend some time with the animals. BEDROOM, the interiors and objets d'art company started by AdrinAdrina, is showcasing, �CHAMPAGNE BEDROOM,� a line of unique and fantastical pillows, bedspreads, and furniture by AdrinaAdrina and the new work of three talented guest artists/designers from London and New Orleans. These lines are �Infinity Forever�, embroidered pillowcases by Louise Riley; �Fantasy Luminaries�, hanging lights/chandeliers by Elliott Bennett Coon; and �Threaded Silken Pods�, window treatments by Tora Lopez. MARFA INTERIORS, the interior design venture of artists/designers AdrinAdrina and Lorna Leedy, launches a new line of luxe felted wool intarsia cushions, bolsters, ottomans and upholstered pieces. Special appearance by PHOTO CON QUESO QUESO, a digital photobooth that not only makes you look good, but will look good at your party, too! �We didn't invent the photobooth, but we took it to the next level�. |
