This April, Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, and Old Crow Medicine Show will embark on a tour unlike any in recent memory. Traveling exclusively in vintage railcars, the three bands will journey across the American Southwest over the course of a week. The aptly titled Railroad Revival Tour will feature the three bands playing concerts at six unique outdoor locations along the route, beginning April 21st in Oakland, California.

For the Texas Biennial, Santoro will launch her project, The Synergetic Omni-Solution, which will include lectures, demonstrations, performances, multimedia installations, booklets, and posters around Marfa. Pony Palooza, a live auction and party, will take place at the Hotel Paisano, Saturday April 30th beginning at 6:30. Tickets are $10. The event is sponsored by the 2010-2011 class of Leadership Big Bend to raise money to purchase a Fjord pony for the Davis Mountains Therapeutic Riding Center in Fort Davis.
There will be music, a live auction, refreshments and a cash bar! Viewing of the auction items begins at 6:30 and the live auction begins at 7:30pm. ALL proceeds will go toward the purchase of Jack, a Norwegian Fjord pony, and scholarships for therapeutic riding.
