- Description:
- Galleri Urbane / Marfa announces a new exhibit, �SUPERFORT�, paintings by native Texan John Phillip Abbott currently living and working in Durango, Colorado. An opening reception will be held on Friday, Feb 13, from 7-9pm. The gallery is at 212 East San Antonio/Hwy 90 in Marfa.
The show will include 10 recent paintings. The artist focuses on the space between the psychological associations of memory and consciousness. How are we to reconcile the weight of the past? What is memory? How does it shape our perception?
The show will continue through April, 2009.
