Description:
45 glider pilots bring their sailplanes to Marfa Airport in southwest Texas to explore thermal and mountain wave soaring. Glider rides and lessons available. A memorial banquet for soaring legend Dick Johnson will be held on Friday, April 10, at the Hotel Paisano ballroom. Reservations required. Hosted by Marfa Gliders Soaring Center. 800-667-9464
